As Tainted only archives Placebo-, Savage Garden-, and Orlando Bloom-based fanfiction, please do not send in a piece of work that belongs in a fandom other than the ones listed above. However crossovers are accepted.
All work must be in Word or Notepad documents, or saved as an HTML file. Unless you absolutely cannot send them as attachments, copy your submissions into the e-mail. We'll copy and paste it into an html document. But please try to avoid having to do this - not only does it create more work for you, but also for us.
All submissions must have proper html tags. [tainted] will not format your work for you, so you yourself must put in the proper HTML tags. These tags include bold, italics, underline, strike-through, and paragraphs. If you don't know about them, just ask us or check out an HTML site. If you really haven't the faintest idea about what to do, save all your chapters in a Word Document and click "Save As", then the pop-up window will have an option title 'save as type', choose "Web Page". Easier than you think, eh?
For the love of God, please run a Spellchecker through your work. We are not editors! We will not correct your spelling and grammar for you. Your story will be posted the way we receive it - spelling errors and all. People will think you are an utter moron, and chances are, they will not read the rest of your work, however good it may be. And you don't want that, do you? So please check your work before you submit it.
Please, do not send us links to where your work can be found. You must e-mail it to us in a file or as an e-mail message. If you send us a link to another webpage containing your fanfiction, it will not be given a second thought, so please, think before emailing.
IMPORTANT. PLEASE READ -- Stories can be sent in one of two different formats. Either you send us the entire story in one go, or each individual chapter as it is written. Stories will not be posted unless all rules are followed.
